application support engineer (corporate applications) – permanent  

salary up to £36,600 - London docklands  

We operate a wide range of IT applications to help support our vital work – including proprietary case management, messaging and knowledge tools.  

As an application support engineer focussed on corporate applications, you’ll make sure the key systems our people in HR and finance are fit for purpose and available at all times. To do this, you’ll use your own understanding while collaborating with technical experts in IT and at our third party suppliers to fix problems and look at ways to continuously improve how we do things.  

Ideally you’ll have a broad understanding about how a range of applications for managing customer data and communications interact and are used and maintained, and having some previous experience of providing technical applications support would be desirable. This role is all about putting the customer first, so we’re expecting you to have particularly strong communication and organisational skills – you’ll be planning your work ahead to meet deadlines but also dealing with quickly changing priorities as technical issues arise. And it would also be beneficial to have some understanding of SQL or Microsoft SQL Server and working with .NET applications.
