Can you listen actively to identify customers’ needs – and explain complex issues in a way they’ll understand? Do you have the perspective it takes to see both sides of a story? And would you like to receive training and support that’ll develop your decision making and professional skills?

When a consumer has a complaint they can’t settle with their financial service provider, they can come to us. Your job as an adjudicator is to examine the information we receive from both sides, work out what really happened – and make a fair decision that resolves it.

To make the right decisions and explain your thinking clearly, you’ll need first-rate skills in listening, thinking and communicating. You’ll also need a perspective on life that’ll enable you to understand your customers and ask the right questions. And you’ll need to be someone who shares our values, which include doing the right thing and respecting the needs of customers.

What will we give you in return? On top of the starting salary and standard benefits, you can choose the flexible benefits that best suit you and your life. And when you first join, you’ll benefit from a training academy that’ll give you professional, personal and technical skills that’ll serve you well in life and career.

You’ll also have the chance to play a key part in a respected organisation with a good reputation. One which has strong values and plays a crucial role in society – making a positive difference to millions of people every year. Also, things move quickly here, so we can offer you lots of career development opportunities. And we don’t have a long-hours culture. We want people to enjoy working here – and it should fit well with the life you want to lead.

*
We’ll need everyone – part time and full time adjudicators – to be here full time for up to 12 weeks to complete our training academy. After that, part time adjudicators will need to be here for at least 21 hours across three days each week.
